Our first project as the new ORI, woohoo!
ORI has been inactive lately, but we're trying to change that. So for our new project, we're going to be doing a simple little WORM to get back into the swing of things!
Here's the challenge:
Pick a song that you think represents you or your personality, this can be a positive element or a negative one. Then, using either your representative character or (if your representative doesn't have enough scenes or you can't make a video to that sort of song with them) a character you feel fits who you are as a person and make a 30-60s WORM part demonstrating your unique editing style.
ORI is a melding of individuals into a coherent whole. This WORM is something that will show that.
As this will serve as an introduction to the new ORI, please include a brief paragraph introducing yourself and describing why you picked your song with your part when you post it/send it in, as these will be added to the description of the video when it's uploaded.
The deadline is August 17th.

I'm Frosty and I'm 24 years old.
I'm choosing Titanium but I'm using Within Temptation's cover for that song not the original.
I've dealt with shit all my life that always put me down and I fight to be strong and stand up for what I believe in and oppose those who put me down.
I'll try to get FF cutscenes soon enough.

Hey all, I'm Rizafan203, or Riza and I'm 29 and I've chosen "Masterpiece" by Jessie J since it's become my rallying theme for myself when things get tough. Since at this time I'm in the process of doing the remaining science classes I need for applying for a Nursing Program. And the song speaks to me.

Hey guys, I'm anticomet, my previous account names have been BoyfriendKisser, MissWhiteMascara and googal106. I'm 18 years old and I'm not working or studying at the moment because I want time to work on my health. I haven't been editing in quite some time but I'm eager to get back into it!
My identity and personality has actually been something I've been struggling with for a while now. I've been struggling with mental illness for a long while now, about three years, and that comes with all the symptoms of not finding enjoyment out of things you usually do, stuff like that, so I've lost sight of who I am, really. But maybe it's just because I've grown up and am a different person than I was, I don't know. So the character I want to use is Max Caulfield from Life is Strange. She's pretty different from me, but she is also struggling with her identity, second-guessing every action she takes. Over the story she seems to gain more confidence, but I relate to the awkward, shy girl we saw in episode 1. I'll be using Stay Alive by José González.

Heyy, I'm BlackIronButterfly aka Caitlin and I'm 19 years old. I'm currently studying Computing at uni as well as working part time as a waitress. But apart from nearly always being on the go at the moment, I want to continue editing as I find it enjoyable and relaxing.
My rep character is Tifa. and I will be editing with her to the song Still Alive by Lisa Miskovsky because for as long as the song has been out I have felt a connection with it and it is one of my all time favourite songs.
Anyway I can't wait to work with all of you!

Okay I think I want to change my song sorry cuz Stay Alive has got some lines I wanna use but theyre far apart from each other so it's too hard to pick a part of the song to edit to @-@
So I'm gonna do Fear of Dying by Jack Off Jill instead

Okay,okay I finally found a song I could use. Good job me, good job. Why thank you, me. ^^ Khm...Aaanyway  Since everyone made little intros here and Miri you made a post with Introduction I'm little confused as to where I should write my intro(might as well at both places?). So... Hello to you all, I'm your 2nd coleader. My name is Diana and I'm 20 years old. Like everyone else here I had my ups and downs in life. Because of that "downs" part of the life I lost inspiration for editing and I haven't properly edited for like 2 years, which was very awful... Now, I'm finally getting back to my feet and with that getting back to editing (it feels so good, still little rusty but I'm getting there). That is why I'm going to choose 'This is my life' by Beast (it's Japanese and I couldn't help it!!). My new channel is KissDHyphe, my previous is/was fantasykido0201 - it's still there and breathing for now. That would be it. I'm glad we are still keeping this studio alive and that I'll keep on working with you all. High five everyone! |

There's an intro thread for new people to introduce themselves, but this is also the "Personal Introduction WORM" so I guess this makes sense? Maybe it's also because people are submitting their intro paragraphs for the WORM? I dunno.
Also, that sounds awesome for your song!

Okay so here is my part. I'm sorry that its soo crappy but I just haven't had time to edit and I've had a bit too much going on what with work, uni starting up soon. I'm also going on holiday tomorrow so i've had to get ready for that, my phone has been bugging out so I need to get a new one and just generally life. So yeah. I really am sorry if my part lets the group down, I honestly wanted to do something good. anticomet & blackironbutterfly Your parts are great, I like them. @boxfaery i think it's absolutely fine to use crossovers. This worm is to demonstrate our unique editing styles, so if that is your style go for it.
