Since no one except Koneko gave a suggestion for our new project, and both Miri and me like it, we decided to make this our new MEP.
Like title already says it's Thanksgiving MEP or to phrase it better (since not everyone, like myself, celebrates Thanksgiving) MEP about giving thanks. Giving thanks, or being grateful, for anything you want: family, friends, special someone, for you being you, any little or big thing that you want to give thanks to.
Who is up for it? And if you have any song suggestions they are very welcome. Depending on how much we suggest we'll make a poll and vote, like always.

Don't know if this would be a "thankful" song, since its more or less a love song of sorts, but one I wanna throw out there is "Thank You For Loving Me" by Bon Jovi; the reason I suggest it is because of a lyric line; "You pick me up when I fall down You ring the bell before they count me outIf I was drowning you would part the sea And risk your own life to rescue me". My feeling to it would be a way to say thanks to either family or friends that have been there for us when we were down and out. And picked us out of our own ruts.
I hope that others will find a way to participate more in the Studio

I'm definitely in! Always ready to edit for ORI  As for songs I don't really know what to suggest (I'm up for anything anyway) but how about Something in the Water by Carrie Underwood. Not sure how "Thankful" it is or what it will be like to edit to but thought I'd throw it in anyway. |

Long Live would be perfect if we hand't already done the 2 Years MEP to it. Ummmm....
You're Not Alone by katethegreat19/Erutan would be beautiful. It's a love song sort of as well but it's all about helping and supporting another person and could be done from the point of view of helping someone who's helped us a lot in the past.
Actually, I just found a perfect one - For All the Lovers, by Stanfour! It's all about helping people and sending thanks and support to people who have been having a hard time. We could use it to give thanks to people who've made a positive difference in our lives but who might also be going through a hard time right now. And again like, paying them back for hwat they've done for us <3
If Today Was Your Last Day is kiiiind of a stereotypical/overdone choice, just about being thankful for life and stuff, but I'll throw it in also.
Sorry for all these suggestions, we just didn't really have many and I wanted to give us some options. Personally I think For All The Lovers is my #1 choice so if you only want to enter one of those that's the one I'd enter.

I found so far only one song I could suggest here.
Little Wonders - Rob Thomas; It's not a love story. "Our lives are made in these small hours
These little wonders, these twists and turns of fate" I really like this part of the song and think would fit nicely with the theme.

I don't know why I didn't think of Demi Lavato's "Gift of a Friend" I know that at a time it was overly edited to, but it just sounds a good track to use since it talks about having the gift of a friend. I know at some levels it may speak to many in some ways when life wasn't at its best and that feeling despair was there. Having great friends help to pick up that person. I'm not speaking off of a personal standpoint as I write this, but I'm sure it would speak that way to others.

All of these are good ideas; do we want to throw in youtube links to each of these songs? These are all really good suggestions, guys.
I'm also going to throw in Not Quite Paradise by Bliss 66, which is about kind of being grateful for what you have, things not being 100% perfect but being good enough.
We could also do an instrumental song.
